Proposition Initiative: Save Pluto. In 2006, the International Astronomical Union declassified Pluto, the littlest big planet of the solar system, from a real planet to a dwarf planet. This is a tragedy of monumental proportions and SackBoy, along with your support, is fighting to reclaim Pluto as the ninth planet. |

Come on people, be serious for a second. Yes Pluto was classified as not being a planet for whatever reason, a group of men changed the rules. But what would make you think Earth would be next. And why is it that through everything that goes on around our world and universe 'America' has more of an important say in everything? Not anti-america or anything--eager to see why.

I have a question: Why isn't Mercury thrown out as well as Pluto? The rule is they have to be a certain size and they have to have a moon but Mercury does not have one...

thats why they had to come up with this third rule. other wise there would be like a total of 17 planets. because of the irregular orbit.

I'm sorry, SackBoy. It's not going to happen - who are they going to listen to, astronomers, or some random YouTube guy?

Quite doubtful. It is a Kuiper Belt Object (which is a little like the Asteroid Belt, but farther out), and there had been larger things discovered (such as Eris) that had not been named planets.
