This video reminds me of the backpacking trips that I have taken over the Pioneer Mountains in Southwest Montana. What a great state.

Thank You. Had a hard day at work, and watching this vid gives me hope. Helps me to keep things in perspective. Spring is coming, and the fish will still be there.

yah i tend to agree with cerealchiller the clark fork is pretty disgusting... and if you want to catch some fish that are good for eating go get yourself some stocked brookies or rainbows in the lakes and leave the big boys in the river where they belong

How much space would it take to pack one into the wilderness areas?I usually just fish from the bank. I can't fit any more gear because I usually take a daypack. But I've always wanted to use a float tube to get to those hidden or hard to reach good fishing spots.

sounds like a tree hugger fish story, ace

Hope you like eating trout contaminated with heavy metals. I would rather eat the corn eyed brown trout I just released in my toilet bowl than eat a 7 pound brown from the Clark Fork.
